Product description

IR SaunaPod is a portable infrared sauna to sit in that combines advanced infrared heat technology with a sustainable, aesthetic design – perfect for the Nordic home. The sauna tent itself, which is stretched over the infrared sauna, is made of natural moso bamboo and breathable cotton that absorbs moisture, is antibacterial and ensures a pleasant sauna experience. The IR SaunaPod is set up in under a minute and connects to a regular power outlet (220V), with no installation required. It weighs only 5.5 kg and comes with a chair. Your head is outside and you can breathe normal air, which makes the sauna experience even more comfortable.

With four powerful, energy-efficient carbon elements – including a foot mat – the infrared sitting sauna provides an even, deep and long-wave infrared heat (FIR) that can contribute to deep relaxation, improved blood circulation, pain relief, detoxification and better sleep. The carbon elements are high quality and ensure fast heating and optimal heat distribution.

IR SaunaPod is available in the sizes Standard and Maxi. The Maxi model is developed for those taller than 181 cm, or who want extra roomy space for legs and shoulders. This variant provides increased comfort and freedom of movement, and is also perfect for shorter people who prefer more space during the sauna session.

Choose between the stylish colors Bamboo Sand (beige) and Bamboo Stone (dark grey), and create your own home spa with an infrared sauna that is both effective, portable and beautiful in the home.

IR SaunaPod was previously called "Infrarød Sauna Basic Bamboo Sand / Stone"

Materials

The IR SaunaPod consists of 3 infrared carbon heating elements in all the walls, in addition to a foot mat on the floor. The infrared sauna is covered with a durable blend of moso bamboo and cotton. The bamboo fabric is breathable, antibacterial, and moisture-absorbing – perfect for use in high heat where sweating occurs. Moso bamboo is known for its sustainable properties, and together with cotton it gives the sauna a linen-like, natural finish that fits perfectly in Scandinavian homes.

How to use IR SaunaPod :

• Place the sauna on a flat and heat-resistant surface
• Unfold the tent and insert the included chair
• Connect to power and use the remote control to adjust temperature and time
• Use towels on the bottom, on the chair, and around your neck for hygiene
• Sit with your head outside the sauna for natural breathing
• We recommend 30 minutes, 3 times a week for best effect
• Drink plenty of fluids before and after use

NB: For the best possible experience and long lifespan of your sauna, we recommend always unplugging it from power when not in use, and avoiding using it while folded up. Place it in a dry location, away from splashing water and moisture, and ensure both the cord and plug are in good condition. We recommend using the heating mat on a surface that can withstand heat, and avoiding sensitive floors and rugs such as wool, leather or certain plastic materials.
