The plan is to use the infrared sauna for at least 30 minutes three times a week, over six weeks.
Already after the first sauna session, the reaction was powerful.
– After fifteen minutes, the sweat started to trickle, and by the end, I was completely drenched. It felt like a workout.
Afterwards, Hennie slept better than she had in a long time. Her body went into total rest mode. The next day, she woke up with "muscle soreness" and renewed energy.
– I was actually a little surprised and taken aback by how strongly my body reacted, she says.
Her husband has also tested the sauna. He had the same reaction – first a great tiredness and fantastic sleep, which was then replaced by more energy.
Week 3: More energy, softer body and weight loss
Three weeks into the project, Hennie is glowing. Both she and her husband are hooked on the IR sauna.
– We almost have to fight over who gets to use it first, she laughs.

– I'm addicted, she says laughingly, adding that she loves the feeling of sweating out the day's stress.
