Now we are expanding the Radiant Health universe with three new launches, Radiant Health Magnesium and two new flavours of our popular electrolyte powder: Orange and Raspberry.
The launch marks a natural next step for Radiant Health. After several years of focusing on infrared heat and red light therapy, we are now expanding our range with products that support the body from within, developed with the same uncompromising philosophy of quality as the rest of the range.
A magnesium we wanted to develop ourselves
Magnesium has long been a natural part of everyday life for many in the Radiant Health team. When the idea of developing our own magnesium emerged, the ambition was clear: if we were going to launch a magnesium, it had to be one we would choose ourselves.
"We did not want to make 'just another magnesium'. We wanted to develop a product that reflects the standard we hold for all our products, with carefully selected raw materials, high quality and a user experience we would be proud of," says Siw Hansson Kaulbach, founder of Radiant Health.
The result is a magnesium powder with five carefully selected forms of magnesium: magnesium taurate, magnesium bisglycinate, magnesium citrate, magnesium malate and Aquamin® marine magnesium.
The combination has been developed with a focus on high quality and good bioavailability, so that the product builds on forms of magnesium we have great confidence in. We also deliberately chose not to use forms of magnesium such as magnesium oxide and magnesium hydroxide, which generally have lower bioavailability than the forms we have chosen.
Each serving provides 375 mg of magnesium, equivalent to 100% of the reference intake.
Magnesium is an essential mineral that contributes to a number of normal functions in the body. Among other things, magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal muscle function, normal functioning of the nervous system, normal psychological function, normal protein synthesis, and the maintenance of normal bones and teeth and electrolyte balance.
For many, magnesium will be a natural supplement after a sauna session or exercise, when the body needs both fluids and important minerals as part of a balanced and active lifestyle.
Just as important as the formulation was the experience of using the product. Many magnesium powder supplements have a bitter or metallic aftertaste. That is why we spent a long time developing a fresh, natural lemon flavour that makes magnesium something you actually want to drink, every single day.
When a bestseller inspired the next step
When Radiant Health launched its first electrolyte powder, the aim was to make it easier to replenish fluids and important minerals after an IR sauna, exercise or on hot days.
It quickly proved to be far more than a product launch.
Radiant Health Electrolytes has become one of our bestsellers and a regular part of everyday life for many of our customers. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, both on the carefully considered formulation and the fresh taste, which many say makes the product easy to use every day.
That became the start of the next step.
"We did not just want to develop more flavours. We wanted to build on a product our customers already love, while keeping the same quality and the same carefully composed formulation," says Siw.
The new flavours Orange and Raspberry are therefore based on the same formulation as the original.
The combination of magnesium, sodium, potassium and calcium contributes to maintaining normal fluid and electrolyte balance, while the minerals also contribute to normal muscle function and normal functioning of the nervous system.
The formula is also enriched with vitamin C, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system, normal collagen formation and increases iron absorption, as well as taurine, an amino acid that contributes to the body's fluid balance and supports recovery after physical activity.
Himalayan salt provides natural sodium and trace elements that contribute to the body's electrolyte balance, while the product is sweetened with stevia and developed without artificial additives.
The result is the same carefully considered formulation, now in two new flavour profiles: a clean, classic orange flavour and a fresh, balanced raspberry flavour.
Considered down to the smallest detail
Behind every product are months of development, testing and careful assessment.
For Radiant Health, it was never about making a food supplement with as many ingredients as possible. The aim was to develop products where each ingredient is chosen with a clear purpose, and where the whole is at least as important as the individual components.
"We spent a long time finding the right balance. We wanted a formulation with carefully selected ingredients and high quality, but also products that are easy and enjoyable to use every day. For us, neither was a compromise," says Siw.
That is why both the electrolytes and the magnesium have been developed with a focus on considered formulations, high-quality raw materials and flavours that make them a natural part of the daily routine.
