IR HeatMeUp: natural and effective relief from pain and stiff muscles
Infrared heat therapy is experiencing increasing popularity worldwide due to its many health benefits. Siw Hansson Kaulbach founded the brand Radiant Health in 2013. Today, the brand is the leading one of its kind in the Nordics – with over twenty portable infrared heating products for home use in its portfolio.
NEW! Radiant Health is now launching another innovative, infrared heating product to promote good health: IR HeatMeUp, designed to provide targeted heat therapy. Here, all the health benefits of infrared heat can be enjoyed whenever and wherever you need it.
– The unique thing about infrared heat is that it is particularly deep-acting and therefore more effective, compared to the heat from, for example, a traditional heat belt, says the founder, who developed the product based on her own preferences, in consultation with feedback and customer needs.
– In a hectic everyday life, it's not always easy to prioritize or invest in oneself. I want to make it easier for people to take care of their own health.
Comfortable warmth
IR HeatMeUp emits a deep, comfortable and soothing warmth to the lower back, abdomen and hips. Blood circulation increases in these areas and can contribute to pain relief and muscle relaxation, as well as providing increased vitality and well-being. The heat belt is fastened with velcro and has an extra belt part that can be attached to make it longer. It is ergonomically designed and can be used both when sitting and lying down. The heat is adjustable up to 80 degrees Celsius. Maximum time, 60 minutes.
The unique technology of using infrared heat in treatment is copied from nature's own laws and principles. It is the same heat we feel from the sun and the same heat the body itself emits. Infrared heat therapy uses infrared rays, also known as heat rays, to stimulate a number of bodily processes for better function. The heat rays are absorbed by the body rather than heating the air around the body first.
Infrared radiation is often divided into three categories: near infrared (NIR), mid infrared, and far infrared (FIR). The heat belt belongs to the FIR category.
Radiant Health and the Norwegian founder
Mother of two Siw Hansson Kaulbach was ill herself when she got the idea for Radiant Health. Someone recommended her to try an infrared sauna at a spa and she noticed an immediate effect.
– I felt so much better that I wanted to work with infrared heat full-time. I started designing my own dream sauna. Out of that came the first 50 portable infrared saunas to the quay in Oslo.
What started as a distant dream for the founder has today become an infrared universe. Siw Hansson Kaulbach is still personally involved in all processes – from product development, logistics, branding and design, to marketing, customer service and visuals. Quality is central to everything she does.
– The best thing about my job is all the wonderful people I am in contact with every single day. Several tell me life-changing stories. Hearing personal experiences of how infrared heat helps and changes lives is incredibly motivating.
