Hot new product in nature-inspired design
As Radiant Health expands its sauna universe, it introduces an elegant and sophisticated new line: the Bamboo Sand series. The IR SaunaPod in bamboo comes in a nature-inspired sand color with a hint of gray to create harmony and give you a wonderful, exclusive spa feeling at home.
– I wanted to create a model with a softer expression, one that fits into a light Nordic interior style, says founder Siw Hansson Kaulbach.
She is on her way to pick up her children from kindergarten, and, slipping on the icy pavement in sheer enthusiasm, she speaks about the product.
– All saunas have different expressions, but I would say the Bamboo Sand series is the most aesthetically pleasing in terms of interior design. It’s delicate and feminine, and can blend into a room as a piece of furniture – as much as possible.
The goal is to offer customers more options.
– Although it’s possible to store our saunas between uses, many choose to keep them out. I therefore wanted to create a sauna that fits into a popular interior style.
The IR SaunaPod Bamboo Sand is the brand's second seated sauna in the Bamboo series – a zen-inspired series focusing on nature, environment, and harmony. Currently, it is only launched in standard size (IR SaunaPod), while the extra-large (IR SaunaPod Maxi Bamboo Sand) will be in stores in June.
Here, all the health benefits of far infrared heat can be enjoyed, such as increased circulation, pain relief, faster recovery, better sleep, and softer skin. Infrared saunas support the body's natural detoxification processes and are a tool for increased vitality and well-being.
Antibacterial, environmentally friendly, and moisture-absorbing
Like its predecessor, the dark gray “IR SaunaPod Bamboo Stone”, the cover is made from moso bamboo, which not only has a beautiful linen texture but also a number of positive properties.
– Good moisture absorption and breathability. The cross-section of the fabric is full of pores that can instantly absorb and evaporate water. This is beneficial in high temperatures and when sweating.
The fabric is antibacterial. In addition, bamboo is the fastest growing forest plant on Earth, which helps make it a more environmentally friendly and sustainable plant.

The founder is still personally involved in all processes – from product development, logistics, brand and design, to marketing, customer service, and visuals. Quality is at the heart of everything she does.

– Many tell me “life-changing” stories. Hearing personal experiences of how infrared heat helps and changes lives is incredibly motivating, she says.
